- Dr. Okuma Omoviroro Loveth is an accomplished Agricultural Economist and Lecturer in the Department of Agricultural Economics at Delta State University, Abraka, Nigeria. She holds a B.Agric in Agricultural Economics, an MSc in Agricultural Economics, and a PhD in Agricultural Economics.
She is passionate about teaching, research, mentorship, and the advancement of agricultural development in Nigeria. Her academic interests include agricultural finance, farm management, agricultural marketing, agribusiness, agricultural productivity, climate-smart agriculture, rural livelihoods, and food security. She has published several peer-reviewed articles in local and international journals and continues to contribute to knowledge through research and academic engagement.
Dr. Loveth also serves as the Coordinator of the Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) in her department. She is a member of professional bodies including the Farm Management Association of Nigeria and the National Association of Agricultural Economics (NAAE).
Beyond her academic career, she is passionate about supporting vulnerable people, particularly through charitable activities and orphanage giving. She is committed to using her academic expertise, professional experience, and service to contribute meaningfully to agricultural transformation and sustainable development.
